Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist competing with the Flyweight Division of UFC. She is also the elder sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champ as well as fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. She returned against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. After leaving the league in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the fight. Following this victory Antonina was offered a UFC contract. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision after she won her first bout. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts she lost to Ariane Lipski, and then falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
