Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career with an acting role in 2003. In 2005, she was noticed first for her performance as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 Her first recognition came from her part in the biographical movie All the Way. Hind also earned high praise for her role as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Hind has recently completed shooting on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will be released at the beginning of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj is an Army Scientist, who passed away on March 18, 2017, and her mother Vrinda have both been household workers. There is an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. The elder brother of Bachchan and her mother were co-producers of Dil Ka Rishta. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents had moved. Jai Hind College where she completed her entire academic year and completed her high school education prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% for her H.S.C. exams. As a teenager she spent five years learning classical music and dancing. Her most loved study was Zoology. Bachchan was a student at architecture in 1994, when she was chosen Miss World. Her title propelled her in the world of modeling. She also received the lucrative offer from L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. The year 1997 was the time she played two critically acclaimed roles: Iruvar and Aur pyaar Hogaia. Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood model of organization. Bachchan became the Queen of New Bollywood following her performance in Devdas 2002, which was one of the most acclaimed Bollywood film. This film also became the first Bollywood movie to show at Cannes Film Festival. She received great praise for her performance of Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic, ad-hoc drama that was based on the Rabindranath Tag book. In that same year she served as the only Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Bachchan's star power and beauty were brought to the first English-language major film. Prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood to play the lead role in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star, and son of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two of India's most powerful actors.
